Welcome to the Volunteer Care Portal
- The Volunteer Care Portal is a web-based software application and associated databases provided by Globe Medical (Australia). The Volunteer Care Portal streamlines your medical and insurance preparation requirements.
- Globe Medical (Australia) Pty Ltd, herein Globe Medical (Australia) manages all data stored within and submitted through the Volunteer Care Portal.
- All information collected through the Volunteer Care Portal, is stored in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), all relevant Australian Law, the Australia Privacy Principles, the 'Volunteer Care Portal Privacy Policy', the 'Volunteer Medical Privacy Policy' and the 'Consent to Collect, Use and Disclose Personal Health Information'.

The Terms of Service:
- This is an agreement between Globe Medical (Australia) and you (the volunteer).
- Through accessing the Volunteer Care Portal, you confirm that you agree to these 'Terms of Service'. If you do not agree to the 'Terms of Service', you should not access or use the Volunteer Care Portal.
- When using any Volunteer Care Portal service, or submitting any document or form through the Volunteer Care Portal, you must comply with this 'Terms of Service', all relevant Australian law, the Volunteer Care Portal Privacy Policy and any other notices or policies provided by Globe Medical (Australia).
- You may not use the Volunteer Care Portal in an unauthorised way that could interfere with anyone else's use of the Volunteer Care Portal, or to gain unauthorised access to any service, data, account, or network.

Using the Service

Accessing the Volunteer Care Portal

By accessing the Volunteer Care Portal you acknowledge that:
- You are 18 years of age or older and you have the legal right and ability to enter into a legally binding agreement.
- You are providing Globe Medical (Australia) with permission to access and maintain your Volunteer Care Portal account.
- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right to retain copies of all transactions made through he Volunteer Care Portal for record keeping purposes.
- No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you, the volunteer, and Globe Medical (Australia) as a result of your use of Volunteer Care Portal (www.volunteercare.com.au).
- You will use the Volunteer Care Portal in accordance with these 'Terms of Service' and comply with all terms contained here-in.
- Globe Medical (Australia) may deny, suspend or revoke your access to the Volunteer Care Portal for any reason. You must not attempt to work around any such limitations.

Personal Security
- You accept all risk relating to the security of your personal computer and web browser. Globe Medical (Australia), as manager of all data stored within the Volunteer Care Portal recommends installing the latest version of your web-browser and anti-virus software.
- Globe Medical (Australia) will not disclose any of your account information to third parties (unless consented to under the "Consent to Disclose Personal Health Information").
- Globe Medical (Australia) will never email you requesting you to disclose your password.
- You must treat your Volunteer Care Portal username and password as confidential, and not disclose it to any third party.
- You must promptly notify Globe Medical (Australia) of changes to: (a) your primary email address; (b) your primary postal address; (c) your contact phone numbers. You may notify Globe Medial (Australia) and update your details through the Volunteer Care Portal. Globe Medical (Australia) shall not be held responsible for any resulting inconvenience, illness, injury or death that results from your failure to keep your contact details up-to-date.
- You should ensure that your personal information remain up-to-date at every stage throughout your assignment.
- You must notify Globe Medical (Australia) if you are aware that there has been a security breach of your Volunteer Care Portal account.

Use of the Volunteer Care Portal
- You must use the Volunteer Care Portal for non-fraudulent, legal activities only.
- You must not misuse the Volunteer Care Portal by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is technologically harmful.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Volunteer Care Portal or any server, computer or database connected to the site.
- In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Volunteer Care Portal will cease immediately.

IP Rights
- All services, names, technologies, materials, processes and designs comprising the Volunteer Care Portal, and all services offered on the Volunteer Care Portal are wholly owned by Globe Medical (Australia) Pty Ltd.
- The copyright to the Volunteer Care Portal and www.volunteercare.com.au, as well as the intellectual property contained thereon vests wholly and completely in Globe Medical (Australia) Pty Ltd unless otherwise specified.
- As a Volunteer Candidate, Volunteer or past Volunteer; you are granted a non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Volunteer Care Portal in accordance with these 'Terms of Service'.
- You must not modify or copy any materials you have printed or downloaded, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs or video separately from any accompanying text.
- Globe Medical (Australia's) status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on the Volunteer Care Portal must be acknowledged.
- If you print, copy or download any part of the Volunteer Care Portal in breach of these terms of use, your right to use the Volunteer Care Portal will cease immediately.

- The Volunteer Care Portal may contain links to third party websites. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by Globe Medical (Australia) of the content on such third-party websites.
- Globe Medical (Australia) is not responsible for the content of linked third-party sites and does not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of materials on such third-party websites.
- If you decide to access linked third-party websites, you do so at your own risk.

Volunteer Care Portal Processes and Requirements
- For you, the volunteer, to be eligible to depart on your assignment, there are a number or required tasks, forms and requirements that you must complete. These might be medical, policy or legal, insurance or educational related requirements.
- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right to add any additional task or form at any time, and without advanced notice.
- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right withdraw any required task or form at any time, and without advanced notice.
- Provision of an updated 'Terms of Service' is deemed as sufficient notification.

Required tasks, forms and other requirements may include, but are not limited to:
- Health and safety related forms and documents
- Health and safety related tasks
- Policies and e-Signing of documents, agreements and/ or acknowledgements
- Insurance related tasks and forms
- Assignment and travel related information (including e-Learning courses)
- Volunteers are required to complete all required tasks and forms before a Medical Clearance Status of 'Approved' or 'Conditionally Approved' can be considered.

Liability
- Globe Medical (Australia) makes no warranty of any kind, implied or express, as to the accuracy, completeness or appropriateness of any summary information presented on the Volunteer Care Portal. Globe Medical (Australia) will make a reasonable effort to correct errors brought to their attention.

User Behaviour

Users of the Volunteer Care Portal shall not:
- Use the Volunteer Care Portal for any purpose in violation of local, state, national, or international laws;
- Allow any other person or entity to use your Volunteer Care Portal account.
- Restrict or inhibit an authorised person from utilising the Volunteer Care Portal, or, expose Globe Medical (Australia) or any of its customers or suppliers to any liability or detriment of any type.
- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right to terminate a user's access to the Volunteer Care Portal upon a breach of these 'Terms of Service'.

- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right to change these 'Terms of Service' at any time, to the extent permitted by all relevant Australian law.

Liability
- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right to withdraw or amend any task, form or requirement without notice . Globe Medical (Australia) will not be liable if for any reason the Volunteer Care Portal is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Access to the service
- Globe Medical (Australia) reserves the right to discontinue your access to the Volunteer Care Portal at any time, without notice, and without requiring a cause.
- Through accessing the Volunteer Care Portal, you acknowledge and understand the 'Terms of Service' and agree to comply with the 'Terms of Service' when using the Volunteer Care Portal.
